Fresh Blueberries

Homemade Gluten-Free Granola 

– If you want to skip making your own homemade granola, you can use your favorite store-bought gluten-free granola.

Non-Dairy Milk

How To Make Homemade Granola (Vegan + Gluten-Free)

This homemade granola recipe takes only 30 minutes to make, which includes baking time. 

You will need the following ingredients:

Gluten-Free Rolled Oats

Light Brown Sugar

Agave Nectar or Maple Syrup

Neutral Vegetable Oil – Try Safflower Oil, Sunflower Oil or Non-GMO Canola Oil

Salt

First, preheat your oven to 300°F with your oven rack positioned in the middle for even baking.

Next, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Combine the gluten-free rolled oats and sugar in a medium bowl. Stir in the vegetable oil and agave nectar (or maple syrup) until the oats are well coated.

Spread the granola along the parchment covered baking sheet.

Bake the granola for 15 minutes, stir, then continue baking for an additional 5 to 7 minutes.

Remove your granola from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving. The granola will slightly harden as it cools.

Steps To Make This Vegan and Gluten-Free Granola Breakfast Bowl

This makes 1 serving.

Start off with 2 cups of fresh blueberries. Be sure to wash your berries before using.

*Tip – If you don’t have fresh blueberries, you can use thawed or frozen blueberries.

Take 1 cup of granola, pour 1/2 cup into a bowl.

Next, add the blueberries.

Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of your granola on top of the blueberries.

Add 1/2 cup to 1 cup of plain or flavored non-dairy milk.

Top with 1 sliced banana.

Enjoy as a light breakfast or as a satisfying snack.

What To Add To Your Breakfast Bowl:

Sprinkle with Cinnamon

Add Chia Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, Toasted Walnuts or Chopped Almonds

Sliced or Freeze-Dried Strawberries

Mango Chunks with Coconut Flakes – For a tropical flavor.

Variations:

In place of non-dairy milk, use 1 cup of Non-Dairy Yogurt. Add more if desired.
